I mean Robert Downey and Chris Evans are surefire 1B+ movies at this point so can you really blame them? Its basically a free billion dollars....
I've seen rumors that the combined budget (production+marketing) for this movie reach upwards of 800 million, and a not-insignificant portion of that will be Evans' and RDJ's pay, so that's a real stretch.
