China is a competing near-super power. You expect them to spend money and resources fucking with your country. We do it to them, too, and undoubtedly on a much larger scale.

Israel - with the help of their ethnic diaspora already living here - is literally deciding who can and cannot be elected to our government. That's not "influence". That's occupation.
