I think it's funny when people go to Angkor Watt or other Asian temples and ask for the swastikas to be taken down.
The largest University in my Province had an Arts building (for the artist types) that had extensive tilework in the hallways featuring swastikas. It was built in 1904, long before the Nazis even existed.
Every year like clockwork someone would write to the student newspaper demanding they be removed. Outrage!!!
They did extensively renovate the building eventually, no doubt the offending tiles were removed then.
