Seems kind of doubtful, as the earliest race to split off from the rest (Australian Aborigines) seemed to already have primitive dogs(Dingos) when they did it. Guess there was a miniscule contribution of Neanderthals and Denisovans to a few chromosomes though, so the max distance might be greater for a few sequences.
I saw on twitter that the genetic difference between wolves and dogs is less than between humans of different races.
