Wasnt the x-files rebooted already and it was junk?
I never really liked the original show anyway. "Omg there is a secret alien invasion that will eliminate the human race with x/y/z! Oh wait nevermind there might be a ghost in Oregon, let's forget all about that plotline and act like nothing is happening for 10 episodes."
The best episodes were the "monster of the week" ones.
