They are slowly pivoting to Indians.
Hollywood won't give you a straight white male lead who isn't constantly henpecked by at least one overbearing and insufferable girl boss. If you want your leads to be likeable, then they have to be brown. In this way, they will program some audiences to prefer non-white characters.
