The Federal Reserve System is owned by its member banks, which are private banks that hold stock in their regional Federal Reserve Banks. Guess who owns the private banks? No, really, guess who... because they are privately owned and so deeply ingrained in the world banking system that you aren't allowed to even know or question the people who control and distribute your nation's money supply.
