It's designed to be useless to us. They keep the real version behind locked doors, where they can tell it to find 0days to put CP on anyone's computer they want, or plan how to make your death look like a suicide.
Hence why they demand AI datacenters and overwhelming systems. If it goes open source and able to work off of a normal computer, they lose all the power.

It's a really interesting question. Can we build weapons, or rebuild society with new tech using the AI created by those who would rule over us?
