They've actually been trying to curb that a fair bit. It's not nearly as bad as it used to be.
True! It got so bad that, iirc, one WC they told them they could get a "retroactive Red Card" from video after the game if caught flopping. Cut it down a LOT.
I don't think they still do that, since there's been some flagrant dives & no news of punishment.
