I've come to realize the fundamental red flag with Nick's stance is not that he advocates for voting for Dems by itself, but that he purports that will accomplish anything. Someone of Nick's acumen and experience has understood for several years that it doesn't matter whether you vote for Dems or Reps. When it comes to Israel, they're the same party. Yet he still insists on voting for leftists.
Not to defend the little homo fed at all, but his understanding of politics is fairly sophisticated. Not when he goes on "I will vote for Gavin Newsom", but I have seen clips where he talks about where he talks about how you need to sell your vote dearly. And he is right there.
If you vote GOP unconditionally and the neocons don't, then the GOP will always cater to the neocons - because they have you in the bag. Of course, this is simplifying a whole lot of other things like blackmail and $250 million from Miriam Adelson, but since you don't have blackmail or $250 million, you only have a vote, it is good to think about how to get as much as possible out of that.
This of course is undermined by voting for Gavin Newsom unconditionally.
I can't tell "accelerationism" from "cutting off your nose to spite your face" anymore
The difference is Israel. If you can't tell, it's because you're stupid or disingenuous.
