You're saying it would be hard for you to do it. Like, how do you even do eminent domain, is that like a form you fill out from the county supervisor's office? It's so confusing!
So yeah, you're totally right, it would be extremely hard for you to do these things.
Very funny. It's hard for any nation to do from scratch. If they get help & shortcuts then it's "comparatively easy" ok? 8 years for Pakistan, not 8 months.
It's easy to build a car... if you have some of the parts & a pre-built motor & transmission. And the tools to make parts from scratch, and the skilled technicians to assemble them. Easy! Just 2-3 years, tops. This is to meet all the safety laws, of course. Unless an A-Bomb is built perfectly? It won't go boom properly, there's no "half-assing" them like using some duct tape to hold your busted side-mirror on.
I'm not even joking, you're imagining how hard it would be based on your limited knowledge. If you had to do it, how would you do it, the only way you know how to do it is hard, so it's hard.
You've compared it to 1940s Manhattan Project so you must not be aware technology has advanced since then. You're imaging some Weimar-era cast iron centrifuge and how hard it would be using that, when in the real world they're using magnetic levitation bearings and countercurrent multiplication - neither of which existed at the time - and tons of advances in materials and controls.
I understand that in your head it's difficult to do these things, but that's not reality.
Oooooh okay, I finally get it!
