Basically any place where I can interactt with other people now need to "ensure" I am "18+." A way to prop up their buddy and their ID farming database. Also NO, I'm not taking a fucking selfie. They can fuck off. Whatt I look like is none of their fucking business.
So Canada is pure junk now. Soon I won't even be able to use Discord. So I wanna move, but where? Is there any country left that isn't a dystopian shithole at this point?

In some European countries, you have to take a selfie to open a bank or brokerage account... repulsive.

Know your customer laws here in the US mandate the same thing. Of course if it's a legitimate bank or credit union they just check your ID. The "selfie to verify" crap is mainly a problem with shady fintech companies that you shouldn't be using anyway.
They do that here for any online only banks.
You have to do that in Canada too, at least for crypto accounts.
