The aliens in Halo do kinda remind me of irl cults.
I say "cults" because there is no singular religion they reminded me of. They reminded me of multiple.
They are lead by Prophets, which reminds me of Islam.
They have a caste system, which reminds me of hindus.
They are doomsday cultists, which reminds me of Jehova Witnesses, Branch Davidians, Jim Jones, and other Christians who are doomsday believers.
They act very genocidal and anti-human, which reminds me of Israel.
So yeah.
