One of their favorite things is using prequels as an opportunity to diminish or otherwise reframe beloved straight white male heroes. You like Marcus Fenix? Well did you know the only reason he survived in the first place was because a diverse group of preexisting heroes saved his life every ten minutes? When you think about, aren't those women and minorities the real heroes? Wasn't your straight white male hero just standing on their shoulders all along?

Maybe the funniest example of this was Reva from the Obi-Wan television show. You like Luke Skywalker? Did you know he only survived because a strong black woman let him live? She was going to kill him, easily, but instead she spontaneously overcame her own sith nature to stop herself. She spared your straight white male hero. So your really owe everything to this preexisting black female hero. Without her, the entire original Star Wars trilogy you love so much would have never even happened! Also, she survived being stabbed with a lightsaber by Darth Vader himself! Twice! This isn't fucking retarded at all!
