Yeah, I don't think you're wrong at all. They've flipped the entire script into that. I've always been of the idea that even when things look terrible you still have to aspire to something. If your life goal is to be a useless degenerate leech, that's as high as you will go. It's why I hate the doomer give up mindset here too. It's non productive.
