Property tax is objectively more evil and unnecessary than income tax, but income tax is still evil.
3% income tax purely on landowners was considered enough to declare tyranny and go to war. Stop simping for the government, it will never benefit you, and deluding yourself that it will will only result in the noose tightening around your own neck and everyone else's with your idealism.
It’s so evil that every one of the founders agreed it was objectively the best tax. So evil that 250 years later every economist agrees it’s the best one for economic growth and individual savings. So evil that it created the suburbs.
