You don't have to "learn" EVs.
Some places in fact pushing for total electrification. California passed regulation, insisting on being 100% zero emissions by 2035 or so.

The blocker is the electrical grid can't handle a complete switch to EV and private investors can't enter the auto sales market that easily.

However... When it comes to AI data centers, that IS something private investors can just throw money at and have built or influence.

A better comparison is learning computers, modern cell phones and various Internet tasks.
