Scully is the perfect example of a strong likeable woman that modern day writers can't/won't write.

Every episode feels like a movie. It doesn't have "Netflix Lighting"

Is Netflix lighting still common? I don't watch much these days.
Used to watch Netflix on a 1080 TV that had a good auto levels mode, made it so that you could actually see. My 4k doesn't have it, has some sort of auto levels feature, but does not work nearly as well.
Netflix shows and moves have a distinctive "style" to them that is soulless. Probably partly lighting, partly the cameras they choose, the editing style, whatever but its there and a noticeable thing. I honestly have a difficult time giving a crap about any of their movies or shows because of the Netflixification of almost all media. It could also be an over reliance on shitty cg farms too. I think everything has gotten so samey now because they are maximizing efficency. Its the min/maxer effect writ large of the entire media industry. Everything will be beige and gay eventually.
