Iran does get some of its electricity from nuclear power, and spent fuel rods can be enriched over and over to use up roughly 98% of the mass. However, the enrichment percentage they supposedly had for their fuel rods isn't good enough for a nuclear bomb. The amount they'd have to use would make the bomb so large as to be unwieldable.
