This shift in posture generally only means one thing; their former ally has now been positioned as an enemy, or at the very least useless.

Israel could be sidling up to Iran next, for peace and prosperity. Or it could find another, more reliable, means of continuing its millennia old feud in the region.

But for all the toddler talk, this baby has nukes.
