I would argue that's actually a fairly large portion of the population to be participating in a war effort. The American Revolution was what, 3%? And you think you're gonna get four times that amount? Might want to temper those expectations.
I'd chalk that up to selection bias, but here's hoping you're right and that if/when things come to blows that there's enough of the White population willing to put in the work to set things right again.
