People assume that Democrats simply need to be a warm body alternative to switch off the White House to them. I don't know about that. They are more phony and ridiculous than at any time in the history of the party.
MAGA will need to improve conditions eventually to maintain credibility, but these are local policies so people will cut them slack for a while.
While belief in Trump is shaky, from what I see people are trying to focus on the concepts and policy of MAGA such as strong borders, A LOT more hiring locally and shutting off all government slush funds to DEI shit.
Which is why I'm suspicious of those that go 'MAGA is dead' when Trump fails to live up to promises as it seems more they don't WANT MAGA to become more of a movement that can outlive Trump.
