To my eye this all looks identical to Gab and Voat and Poal and maybe even late-era Saidit. All sites where the general opinion is that video games are for faggots.

Apparently in this case, because everyone who even knew what Kotaku was threw up their hands and left when it just turned into the generic snarky hate group that the feminists had been accusing it of being.

The old KIA cared about their reputation somewhat. They thought it would be nice to be taken seriously. This incarnation obviously gave up on that long ago.
