I can understand a couple of the other languages this game has been translated into.

The other translations I can understand seem close to what the Japanese author wrote, and are all very close to eachother.
The dev who claims to have ''worked closely'' with the translators and will ''quickly fix the couple of bad lines'' is either lying about supervising anything, or has been gaslit and lied-to by the woke translators.

I'm assuming you're using the impersonal "you". My Steindar is already finely calibrated to the point that I assume intent in the fact he has an ambiguously scatological photo incorporating a child's toy.
