Country is in chaos, gangs running the street, etc. You can't take anything done. It's an economic collapse. People starve, services collapse, etc etc.
OK, maybe violence won't work. You go for the political road. Of course, every single media is against you. Hit pieces are run every day and night. Your message is distorted and every major outlet is attacking you. Voters are being told they are evil if they vote for you. But OK let's say you do take control somehow, maybe politically, maybe like Trump (who by the way was backed by several medias and many super powerful people). You pass laws, etc etc. Then as soon as you're out, your changes are reverted and it's worse than ever.
Look at what happens to the US when Trump is out in 3 years.
