There IS increased vigilantism happening in the UK it's just the government is DESPERATELY trying to keep it quiet under the illusion that it maintains their authority and the public are fine with it kept under the radar so the ones doing it can keep being active than be caught.
On the lesser end, there are the bladerunners who go round, cutting down all the cameras designed to fine and tax vehicles for emissions. They've destroyed 50% of them easy and no one bats an eye in fact some communities KNOW who they are and secretly give them a tab at a local shop so they can get food and supply so focus on this.
On the more extreme end, I've heard from a friend there are guys that infiltrate antifa like groups, identify them, then attack them when they are alone and vulnerable.
The lack of action on shit like this is breeding a vigilante response that is just going to slowly escalate...
