Well, it means they're not remotely interested in solving the problem. That they'll never let a good crisis go to waste in the service of lining their pockets. That they pretty much know it's impossible to solve the problem, so they might as well use it as part of a power grab.

Doesn't mean the problem isn't real. It is. It's just that no government or coalition of government has either the will or the ability to stop it. And "guys, our great-grandchildren are probably good and fucked no matter what" isn't a message that polls well.

Liberals lie by saying they can solve it; conservatives lie by saying it isn't even real; every partisan is much more highly motivated to spread lies than face the truth.

It's easy to solve the problem. Glowing green rocks can literally be found in abundance pretty much everywhere on Earth, and give off way more energy, and less radioactivity (fun fact), than coal when processed.

Correct! The material the "scrubbers" getting coal particles out of the chimneys is actually more radioactive than the average "nuclear waste" is.
Yet it sits in open retaining ponds & such.
"Nuclear waste" is 90% not radioactive at all. Clothing, paperwork, materials that never saw an isotope are stored as such. Even the actual "core materials" are mostly harmless after just 20 years. Dental x-ray materials.

That's the whole point! If something is highly radioactive? It has a short "half-life". It degenerates rapidly into non-harmful, less radioactive materials! Rapidly!

The exception is certain plutonium isotopes which have a long half-life (comparatively) BUT degenerate into REALLY nasty isotopes that fire radiation everywhere. Ok that shit is nasty! But it's what? 0.001% of waste? And is handled completely separately, for good reason!

But never in 1M years will an Alarmist listen to facts 😣

After learning about weather manipulation, i'm not sure how real it is.

Weather manipulation is "not impossible"? But the scale of effort required? How could that be hidden? And globally? No not a chance. Local, short term maybe? But thousands of square miles for years? Nah bro, that's tinfoil hat stuff right there.

And I love me a good conspiracy theory! SO many have been prove true! From the Maine & Lusitania to the SPLC... we are correct more often than we are wrong 😉

I'm no expert but if it was true it could be hidden in plain sight. Media won't talk about it, experts are all fake or scared to death and everything else is a conspiracy theory.

Unless there's ways to knowingly change mid-term trends? Weeks, not days or months? With small alterations it would need a huge effort to rapidly change weather or to keep it un-natural for months at a time. Huge!
I think it might be possible to "guide the weather" and influence it slightly over that "medium" time period, but how and why I have no idea. To alter in the short term over a large area would need huge amounts of energy. In the long term the required effort would be gigantic because:

The system self-corrects, it has for millions of years. Unless large events, like super volcanos or comet strikes hit? Things follow a pretty narrow path.

It does, however, change over time. Measured in decades or centuries, millennia even. A "5 year trend" is a blip. That's what AGW is all about: pretending a natural warming trend after the end of the Little Ice Age (1700 - 1850, give or take) is human-made AND natural short warming spells are also 100% human caused.
Notice how cooling spells are utterly ignored by Alarmists, eh? If forced to see them, they too are caused by humans :/
