I always start with dubs, then switch to sub's, but it doesn't matter. It's on mute with subtitles from the introduction of the first female character. I don't get the point of that annoying crying baby voice, its awful.
I remember watching Bleach all the way up until the one character, Nell I think, was introduced.
honestly japspeak foid-talk does sound like a cat yowling
and EN Dubs use some British Foid VO which is like the worst kind of English you can imagine (they sound obese)
though it depends, some companies use American VO which sounds MUCH better than British and it is actually passable
overall i don't like tranime because the plot is some chav-childish nonsense and its not at all realistic
like realistic animes are extremely fucking rare, almost a myth
most tranimes always contain concepts of a fighting foid (which is better than men) if not outright fantasy themes that make no sense
frankly speaking aside from Berserk and Goblin slayer its all High-fantasy grab with too much emphasis on fanservice and not at all on story (and even the latter is full of what i just said)
I saw the 90s Berserk series and it was gay. Like, the main leader was gay, there were gay scenes, the female character was a soldier and it was depicted as totally normal. But I didn't really mind, I liked Kaske a lot, and the plot was really deep, realistic and political. Until the ending with the demons, that was painful to watch. The show would've been much better without the demons.
Golden arch was indeed fucking golden
unfortunately its also when the animation ended and they switched to a cheaper, less refined studio for animation which completely botched the thing and its literally better to just stick to the Manga
