Sony Group Corporation owns Crunchyroll. The acquisition was completed in August 2021 for $1.175 billion from AT&T. Sony merged Crunchyroll with its other anime subsidiary, Funimation, and now operates it under Sony Pictures Entertainment and Aniplex.

If their government really cared, they could fix this with one phone call to Sony. So why haven't they? Something's going on here.

Why does Sony push this kind of subversion under their own roof? Find the jew, that's always a good start.
