Dunno about that. We'd probably be in the middle of the 2nd civil war. Or 2nd revolutionary war.
It's hard not to be skeptical of that. Probably some unrest at worst. Hard for me to believe people would actually cross the red line, even over that. Maybe another January 6th or two, and then the "perpetrators" get rounded up and denounced by "both sides" and things go on as normal.
