I played BDO for a few years and it is a game quite literally racially segregated by region. There are browns in Valencia (Saudi Arabia) and swarthy types in Mediah (North Africa/Iberia) but literally every other zone is pure Anglo/Nordic with two areas of all-female elf girls (all 10/10s). When I quit they had just created not-Korea, a racially segregated island far from the main continent.
I haven't played Crimson Desert yet but I wouldn't immediately jump to "it's woke" because BDO is absolutely not.
(And it's lots of fun actually, but I don't have the time to play it these days)
Yeah I don't think this dude played BDO. They've always had multiple races and a few here and there that migrated from their segregated areas
