I tell normies that gas costing $9 is way more important to me than the problems of some religious nutjobs (jews and muzzies), I couldn't care less what happens to them when it starts affecting my personal life.
Using selfishness as a shield seems to work well against normie faggots because they can't argue against it in any manner, because they're inherently selfish themselves and are incapable of thinking critically enough to mount an argument.
It's also because they've been primed by mainstream media to think gas prices are a major issue they should care about and you're just repeating a mainstream media accepted narrative.
The price of gas reflects the price of oil, which is a very important resource that affects the overall economy in ways you clearly don’t understand.
Gas prices are also affected by government taxes, refining supply/demand and specific supply/demand related to gasoline.
If oil prices are your true concern you should be focused on that not gasoline. Gasoline is just such an obvious "grade 9 level" of understanding for the 80 IQs to comprehend. So, perfect for mainstream media hence what I said.
Irrelevant, the $1-$2 jump in gas prices that happened a few weeks ago wasn't due to taxes, it is because of the energy crisis due to an ongoing war.
People are focused on gas because it's the most relevant metric for the average person.
Your argument is essentially saying "Don't care about the price of bread, go look at the price of wheat". What's the point you're making?
This is also why the populist right got - uh - popular in various Western countries.
A bunch of normal minded people said "Wait, there's a bunch of college aged faggots complaining about faggotry, troonery, and muh racism, but I'm struggling to make ends meet and put food on the table for my families. Why do they keep passing these laws that just make it harder for me to work and make my money worth less by giving it out to these leeches?"
