While we're on the subject, the lyrics of Take Me Home Tonight make it pretty clear that Eddie Money was trying to warn us all that vampires are real.
I was ready to get all defensive and snap at you, but the lyrics totally could be a vampire singing to a conquest. I thought I heard most song and movie theories, glad to find a new one
Funny enough I don't think that's new, I first heard that theory in the nineties.
