This implies Trump is heroic at heart. He is not.

If I'm not mistaken, Season 1 had its major hiccups. Signing off on fake national emergency, remember 2 weeks to open, signing off on experimental poison shots, paying for it with taxpayer monies and then signing off on zero liability to corporate pharma for their experimental poison product... He's "the father of the kill shot" that saved millions durp, member that? You might need to rewatch Season 1. He pretty much gives away that his character is villainous, not hero protagonist. So the second is no surprise.
It's foreshadowing. Of course, anyone who read his character lore in the books knew long before his show aired: Longtime friend and political partner of Clinton, a big fan of covert ops, "suddenly" turning against her and promising generalized vengeance but then none mysteriously ever coming up?
The author did a pretty good job showcasing the twist, long before it was revealed to the audience in Twenty Twenty Eight.
Character lore galore... Longtime friends with Epstein and his predecessor Roy The Zio nist queer Cohn. The evidence makes his true allegiance obviously treasonous. All it takes is a critical mind, a little research and a logical conclusion based on the preponderance of the evidence. Albert Pike comes to mind when I think of what has been foisted upon US.
