We have it in South Africa too. You’ll pull up to a red light and some tiny starving African kid (usually no older than 6 or 7) will come tap on your window, holding their stomach in pain and gesturing towards their mouth etc.
But give them a bit of loose change and they immediately zip off to deliver the cash to their shitbag parent somewhere across the street who’s sitting on their black ass in the shade under an umbrella while their child literally dodges traffic.
Their kids are literally just props to them.
