The entire Daredevil franchise died when the central theme became about 'fists against bullets', as was overtly illustrated in the 'Defenders' cross-over. This would make sense if the characters were all bullet proof or something, like Jessica and Luke Cage. But even then the concept is ridiculous.
Name one modern day mainstream TV show that isn't infected with DEI.
Like I said. Season 1 was decent. Not good. Better than most of the previous show which I stopped watching after season 2 if I recall correctly because it became simply too fucking dumb. That black attorney chick wasn't all too relevant in S1 if I'm not mistaken but I've got to be honest I've forgotten most of it already. I just really like Vincent D'Onofrio as Fisk who is the only reason why I'm even giving S2 a chance after reading that.
And? Have you forgotten modern Disney not only can't innovate, most of their works are either live action adaptations of decades old movies, or entirely topical taking every cue from IRL because none of the writers can actually imagine anything.
That would be a mistake given how Disney seemed to be desperately turning away from woke and daredevil has some of the more popular characters in it, still marketable.
That's what I mean, they SHOULD be hibernating and keeping a low profile right now, doing this now to STILL marketable characters and actors seems idiotic.
I dunno; they have infinite funding. The seismic shift away from physical theaters means they can curate and hide their numbers on their respective streaming services.
I havent watched a disney show in over 5 years and I dont think I will ever again. I tried watching the Mandalorian, it was junk and fan service. No original story to say. I half expected Gus Fring to start a meth business halfway through the show.
Mandalorian S1 was okay, though far more human-centric than it should have been (saves money on costumes makeup, etc). Currently watching Star Trek voyager and it's amazing how detailed some of the aliens are even for ones that show up only once in once episode for 30 seconds.
Mandalorian S2, I barely finished as I saw the grrlboss writing on the wall. Never bothered with S3
Some of the more perceptive members of society began to question the true purpose of the feelies. They wondered if the constant stimulation was merely a means to keep people from thinking too deeply or feeling too intensely. The feelies, they argued, were a form of escapism that prevented people from engaging with the real world and its complexities.
Has anyone even seen the first season?

Yes. Thought it was decent.
SPOILER alert
They killed what's his name to replace him with a current thing black female role partner? Come on, that has D(isney)EI written all over it.

May as well say, "Name one modern TV show that isn't a waste of time to watch." It's the same picture.

AI fan made dramas will herald a golden age of freedom
Except it won’t. The CEOs approving current day DEI slop are in the same belief circles as the CEOs who bought up AI.

It’s called hiding. On January 20, 2029, there won’t be a straight or white person in any of their media ever again.

They needed to reboot the show? Daredevil was a credentialed MCU product lol

I never read much Daredevil growing up so I can read the Miller run
