I think I might have been the first on c/meta, but there were several. Interestingly, we were all seeing slightly different behaviour initially, almost as though admin was trying different solutions and finally settled on the nuclear option.
I first noticed it on c/news, then brought the matter to KIA2 where a lot of users didn't see the behaviour at all. Downvotes started working again for maybe a week before the who thing came down.
I'm of the opinion that this is intentional; it's way to specific to be a random bug. I think the admin realise they're losing the narrative on Israel (and the Jews, generally) and giving the site the good old shut-it-down.
That said, does anyone have a suggestion for migration? It seems it's time once again for the free speech people to mosey on down that dusty trail.
Is migration even worth it? For me, it reddit then voat. Then back to reddit when that went to shit. Then poal and, again, back to reddit. Then dotwin/scored.
At some point some shit is going to go down once the new site gets too popular.

Feels like the recent war escalated efforts to control downvote spam and the admins just decided to go for the nuclear option.
I’m down. If there’s a place to go, I’ll go.
Besides. There’s no reason to stay on this network once Trump is gone.
