We the taxpayers did. This was a grant from either the government directly or through Texas A&M from what I can tell, either way we paid for a creepy attempt at social engineering that likely came from the guys own sexual fetishes.
Exactly. And people say college should be free
I’m okay with cheap or free if applied properly and manageable financially. Forcing higher initial costs to separate good and bad actors is definitive of a low trust, low functioning society. College was cheap in the until after the 70s because it was merit driven and alumni would make massive donations because the system worked. The socialists wanting free college is just low trust societies reaching the inevitable conclusion of collapse through costs.
