Using LLMs are like taking standardized tests, except society has now outsourced thinking itself to LLMs (youtu.be)

What else is new? Most people outsourced thinking to the television decades ago.

Because the truth is that your average person is a fucking moron.

Yep, the ancient greeks complained people were outsourcing their thinking to written works rather than thinking themselves.

Then it was newspapers, TV, radio, internet, etc. You cannot avoid the phenomenon of foolish people who are unwilling to actively determine their own opinions.

There’s a block in peoples head against disagreeing with “conventional wisdom”. Obviously if you have two groups of people with different world views they are going to push for their own. This is obvious but try to use this logic on the real world about Muslims and normies shut down.

No. Normies don't care about conventional wisdom and probably couldn't even define the term for you.

There is a desire in their head to not seem stupid, because to do so would confirm something they don't want to admit. So they seek the false consensus of noise. They seek the comfort of lies. They will do anything to avoid having to confront the reality that mediocrity is the best they can aspire to.

Same exact psychological phenomenon underpinning many of the adherents of communism.

Those devoid of value constantly seek to falsely attach it to themselves. They want "affirmation" as the modernist junk term calls it.

I don't mind people not thinking but these people shouldn't have a say in politics and they should get $0 from me (no social programs for them).
