There is a desire in their head to not seem stupid, because to do so would confirm something they don't want to admit. So they seek the false consensus of noise. They seek the comfort of lies. They will do anything to avoid having to confront the reality that mediocrity is the best they can aspire to.

I don't mind people not thinking but these people shouldn't have a say in politics and they should get $0 from me (no social programs for them).
