This seems unlikely to survive a court challenge, considering the original Trudeau MAiD legislation was federal. And presumably involved making changes to the Criminal Code.
Good on Danielle Smith in Alberta to give some pushback to the steady march of White genocidal progressive demoralization coming from Carney (Trudeau 3.0) and Ottawa.
But possible way to fight back against MAiD in Alberta once a LIberal commie judge inevitably intervenes is probably to strip any palliative care provincial resources that could be used for euthanasia and starve the beast. Make the zealots go rogue and have to do it outside the system. Then prosecute and delicense them as necessary.
The provision to prevent Alberta doctors from referring euthanasia patients to neigbouring provinces for an heroing seems impossible to enforce. Unless Smith has the balls to actually come down in draconian fashion to any doc discovered to have sent any Albertan away for their death. With aggressive criminal prosecution & delicensure (though medical boards that mete out such discipline are also filled with commies).
Doubt Smith actually has the temerity to actually see this through outside of a symbolic announcement. This feels like her Jordan Peterson professional freedom of conscience bill that is a feel good thing but is mostly unenforceable.
