husband does literally nothing but quietly sign over will to sister
wife successfully kills husband
wife writes book about grieving dead husband
This is the weak man/sociopathic woman dynamic that is dominating society currently. I feel bad for the guy, he probably loved the sociopath but he threw away his life and damaged his kids (who probably aren’t his) lives instead of doing the most basic, reasonable responses to his wife’s previous actions.
So he signs the will over....that heavily implies he suspected his wife after the first incident. And he still ate/drank shit she prepared?? I know there are plenty of other things one should get hung up on here before that but what the hell....
If she ends up in jail, the sister gets his money, and the kids end up out of her hands, then it's avoiding the worst outcome but surely there was a way out of this that involved not dying...
Yes, it would have required him to be a man and hold his wife accountable. From everything I saw about the story is he knew all of her doings and still just let the inevitable happen. Now those kids are fucked for life because they have no parents instead of the only one that cared about them.
He easily could have pushed for criminal charges after he was dosed. She would probably get a sweetheart deal but it wouldn’t allow her custody of the kids, most states have it as an immediate deferment on custody rights.

Filing for divorce, even with proof of the other spouse misbehaving... The courts will STILL favor the woman in divorce settlement.
Aside from her going to jail with an actual crime, he's fked.
The whole "she tried to kill me but there isn't enough proof for the cops to arrest her, but believe me!" Doesn't work lol
She eats and drinks too. If someone tries to murder you the only recourse is self defense.
If my wife tries to kill me, I try to kill her right back.

You don't need to divorce to physically separate.
