I suppose there's merit to your argument. But I'm inspired by the idea of this tech helping a High School student make a polished prototype of their game, raising some cash and becoming the next John Carmack. I don't lose anything from danger hairs wasting their time and dime on a turd. It's easy enough to judge developers by their "fruits."

It's called a free market. For all the flops that have been published over the past decade, none of them have been any loss to me. It's obvious what they are and I simple ignore them. Maybe try not being such an arrogant jackass?
