Not entirely true, GOG has player reviews on it. I couldn't tell you how heavily curated they are though, so the point probably still stands.
I dunno, HL2 and portal were pretty good lol.
Eh, I've never played HL2, Halflife1 was eh, and portal is a one and done 5 hour game. Fortunately I didn't pay for it.
TF2, whilst not everyone's cup of tea, was great at what it wanted to be.
And that makes it a better game than the bland please-everyone type of games to me, even if it isn't in my personal top 50.
