I remain extremely skeptical that America will actually lose an all-out kinetic war. America may likely fail in regime change, or get sucked into another nation-building exercise (horrifying), but lose a straight-up fight with Iran? We are on Day 8 of waiting for the apocalyptic hellstorm of Shahed drones and ballistic missiles. #TrustThePlan?
The Houthis "won" their war in the sense that Trump saw an Excel spreadsheet that was not worth it, but they didn't win on the battlefield.
Iran is a larger and better armed version of Afghanistan. We'll spend another ten or twenty years spilling American blood on worthless mountains and burning trillions of dollars, then we'll pull out and the theocratic ragheads will resume control. Might be a good time to invest in Raytheon and Lockheed-Martin.
