One gives people hope and makes them dig, spreading the word, taking action.
The other says "you can't do anything, so don't even try," encouraging inaction--and letting the enemy have their way.
Which is why this board has become so barren compared to hopeful places like GAW and PDW.
Don't just do something, stand there.
