I'm not sure how the first story connects with the other two.

Also, Scouts has a capital S in it.

He was the first arrest.

During the investigation, police uncovered evidence against the 2nd guy.

Investigating the 2nd guy exposed the 3rd.

They were not co-conspirators, but "known associates" who all commited separate crimes, albeit all against hundreds of children.
