Strictly speaking, fake news. The article and interview in question states she never touched a WINDOWS computer in her life. She was an Apple zombie.

Still a rather odd choice if their decision criteria wasn't "who qualifies for DEI who will also give me 'favors'?", but rather "who is best for the job?". Good thing that wasn't the case, though!
