We are told there was a joint bombing campaign in Iran with Isreal/USA.
We are told Iran retaliatee by attacking neighboring countries, not mentioning they targeted the US bases in those countries.
We are told the supreme leader Ali Khamenei is dead.
We are told there are millions of Iranians dancing in the streets in Iran, Canada, and the USA in support.
We are told Iran ordered an operative to assassinate Trump so it was justified.
We are told this is a "one and done", "weekend only", "air strike only" mission. George Bush "Mission Accomplished" moment. Conveniently leaving out the attack the US conducted months ago that should have been the end of it.
It is so crazy. The US should have never become involved in this.
Its crazy the Trump administration campaigned on "no new wars" and America First, MAGA, etc. Only for the administration to become the spitting image of the Bush/McCain admin.
It is so crazy watching this site become a propaganda machine for the war. The vote manipulation, the pro-war shills coming out of the woodwork just like they did for the Ukraine war. The pro-war stickied posts.....
I dont even know what to say anymore.
EDIT: we were told no service members were injured or killed. It has been confirmed as of several hours ago 3 were killed 5 critically wounded.
The now current propaganda is "Trump issued a message to the Iranian people to 'rise up'", so this is a regime change goal just like we all knew.
I am disgusted
At this point, who knows. Trump at least has the advantage of being an successful international businessman so at least UNDERSTANDS the cultures he's dealing with compared to regular politicians. As just look at Afghanistan, the Taliban signed a deal with Trump, honoured it then Biden spat on it and fucked it up.
The one thing I can say for certain is so long as Americans aren't killed and you successful hit the leadership, Americans by and large don't seem to care about military action. Like Trump could attack the three gorges dam, successful destroy it and taking out CCP leadership in the aftermath, so long as no Americans are killed during and after, they wouldn't give a shit.
That's all well and good in the short term, but a state that acts this way is forcing every other leader of every other country to start thinking about de-clawing them.
American can take China or Russia or India or Iran, but can it take them all at once? Can it survive if every other state is laying low but waging non-kinetic war against them over decades?
It's a desperation move in some ways. Before, when they pulled regime change, there was an attempt to install their own dictators; that's what took 20+ years of quagmire wars. Now that they can't even afford to do that, what happens? The next guy in line takes over, makes friendly noises, and immediately starts figuring out ways to undermine American influence over their country instead of, say, voluntarily entering into trade agreements.
I mean that's a possibility but there is one factor you.left out:
NONE of these motherfuckers trust each other! Just look at BRICCS and see how there was so much resistance internally on who is leading than externally. Or just China and Russia 'working together', they'll backstab each other first opportunity which makes anything involving larger risk to destabilise America off the table at least.
One point that's pertinent. Leaders being targeted personally in wars is a great trend.
