Israel still hasn't even taken the Gaza strip

They don't want to. They need a patch of "contested territory" where Mohammed or their own guys can lob a few rockets into Israel every year. Passing on chunk of land the size of Detroit and a couple of civilian causalities is a cheap price for the ability to play victim and get billions upon billions from the US for "security."

They'd lose money if they actually took Gaza. The country is run like the NGOs. The goal isn't to fix the issue, it's to convert it into a revenue stream.
