That said, it’s pretty safe to say that “trope subversion” is one of George’s strongest techniques; It’s pretty cool how Dunc is kind of the ultimate embodiment of “the deeds maketh the man”
Given that the official canon is that his character goes on to be one of the most lauded and documented knights in the realm, I can only assume this means the show would remain faithful and not subvert him.
